Gujarat Titans' batter David Miller has spoken out about his team's resilience in the face of adversity in IPL 2023. Despite not putting in a perfect performance, the Titans have found ways to win matches, much to Miller's encouragement.

After suffering a crushing loss at the hands of the Rajasthan Royals, the Titans secured a much-needed win over the Lucknow Super Giants in Lucknow. With eight points from six matches, the defending champions are currently sitting in fourth place in the standings.


Ahead of their match against the Mumbai Indians, Miller expressed the importance of momentum in the competition. He stated that the team's recent win has given them a massive boost for the games to come.

"Momentum is big in this competition and coming back from a really close win gives us a lot of boosting in the games to come,” said Miller as quoted by Times of India.

The South African acknowledged the challenging schedule ahead, with several games back-to-back, and emphasized the need for his team to be ready for every challenge.

"If you look at the next 10 days, there will be quite a few games back-to-back, so it's a good time to step up and be ready for every challenge,” added the explosive batter.

Despite not playing their best cricket, the Titans have still managed to come out on top, finding ways to win which Miller believes is crucial.

"Even when we have had errors in certain areas and played not-so-good cricket, we have been still coming out on top and I think we are finding ways to win which is very important,” stated the 33-year-old Protean.

The southpaw further emphasized the team's determination to perform at their best and compete against the top teams in the tournament.

The Gujarat Titans have had a rollercoaster of a campaign in IPL 2023, marked by a series of victories and losses. After starting the tournament with two impressive wins, the Titans were dealt a tough blow in a thriller against the Kolkata Knight Riders. 

However, the Titans bounced back with a remarkable win over the Punjab Kings, showing off their true potential. Their momentum was once again disrupted in a closely contested match against the Rajasthan Royals. But, the Titans' fighting spirit shone through as they rose to the challenge to secure a crucial victory over the Lucknow Super Giants.

Their upcoming match against the Mumbai Indians is crucial, and a win would certainly bolster their chances of qualifying for the playoffs.
