In a highly anticipated clash, Rajasthan Royals and Gujarat Titans will cross swords against each other in the 48th group-stage fixture of the ongoing Indian Premier League season. This will be the second game between these two teams in the tournament. The previous face-off saw Rajasthan Royals secure a narrow three-wicket win over the Titans in a high-scoring thriller.

Batting first, Gujarat Titans posted a challenging total of 177 runs, which the Royals chased in the last over, courtesy of a counter-attacking half century from Shimron Hetmyer.

As the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur gears up to host this face-off, let's see what stats say about the iconic venue.

Sawai Mansingh Stadium IPL records and ground stats

The Sawai Mansingh stadium in Jaipur has hosted 49 IPL matches, with the first of them all played between Rajasthan Royals and Punjab Kings on 21st April, 2008.

It has been a happy-hunting ground for the chasing teams, who have won 32 games as opposed to 17 by teams batting first.

The highest-ever IPL total recorded at the venue is 202 by RR, while MI hold the record for the lowest-ever team total of 92 runs here.

The surface in Jaipur has traditionally favoured batters. With the average run rate reading 7.97, we reckon it will be another high-scoring affair between RR and GT tomorrow.
