Pakistan's speedster Haris Rauf believes that the experience of bowling in the Big Bash League (BBL) will help him immensely in the upcoming T20 World Cup 2022, starting next month.

Rauf captured the limelight after plying his trade for the Lahore Qalandars in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). Thereafter, he played well for the Glenn Maxwell-led Melbourne Stars in the Big Bash League.

For the BBL, Rauf was drafted for three games initially when his idol Dale Steyn was injured. In his debut BBL 09 season, Rauf took 20 wickets in his 10 matches, including a memorable hat trick against the Sydney Thunder and five wickets against the Hobart Hurricanes.

Uncapped by Pakistan at the beginning of BBL|09, Rauf caught everyone's attention by bowling effectively with the old ball in the death overs, he played seven matches in the same season before he was called up by Pakistan.
