Zimbabwe stunned Pakistan last evening in the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup 2022 in their Super 12 Group 2 encounter. Needing three off three, Zimbabwe held on to their nerves as Pakistan's tail flustered and failed to chase 131 runs.
Understandably, former players and fans have lashed out at Pakistan's team performance after losing back-to-back games in the multi-nation competition.
In their opening match on Sunday, the Babar Azam-led XI lost to India after Virat Kohli led from the front with a marvelous 82*.
Former fast bowler Mohammad Amir has lashed out at Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Ramiz Raja and Chief Selector Mohammad Wasim. Amir has often criticized Raja and Wasim for their selections and policies.
Taking to Twitter, Amir suggested that it is high time that both Raja and Wasim were let go.
"From day one I said poor selection, now who will take the responsibility for the loss. I think, it is time to get rid of Chairman who has become the god of PCB and so called Chief selector."
Pakistan will face the Netherlands on Sunday in a must-win match to stay alive in the tournament.
