After revealing his heated on-field argument with Virat Kohli, former Pakistan pacer Sohail Khan has made it into the headlines for another controversial remark.

Sohail, who picked a fifer in his solitary ODI against India in the 2015 ODI World Cup, has raised a few eyebrows yet again by terming Rohit Sharma a far superior batter than Kohli.

Speaking on the 'Nadir Ali Podcast', the ex-pacer lauded Indian captain Rohit Sharma for his technique and ability of playing the ball late. However, the 38-year-old maintained that he respects Kohli for what he has achieved as a cricketer over the years.

Here's what Sohail stated

"I respect Kohli because he is very big batsman. But as bowler, I feel Rohit Sharma is a far better batsman than him. His technique is superb. He plays the ball very late, like he has all the time in the world."

Recently, Khan rose to fame by revealing his verbal spat with Virat Kohli during the high-voltage Indo-Pak  2015 World Cup encounter in Adelaide.

The bowler has represented Pakistan in 27 matches across formats, his last game being a T20I against the World XI in Lahore back in 2017.
