India's bowling of late has been blessed to be brimming with talent that has taken its cricket to newer heights.

One of the key factors is the presence of senior bowlers like Mohammed Shami, who are often seen talking with youngsters and guiding them.

In the first Test against Australia in Nagpur, Shami provided India with a terrific start on Day 1 and helped his side clean the tail on Day 3 to register a memorable win.

Now, speaking to Cricbuzz, his teammate Dinesh Karthik has revealed that Shami, known for his on-field aggression with the ball, is also quite fierce in the nets.

Karthik stated that Shami is the toughest Indian bowler in the net to face and is someone who Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma hate playing in practice sessions.

Here's what DK said

"If I have to use one word for Shami, it will be 'Torture Shami' because he is the toughest bowler I have ever faced in the nets. He has got me out a few times as well in the match. But he has been nasty to play in the nets. I thought I was the only one. So, I asked Kohli and Rohit, as they are legends of the game, and they all revealed they hate playing Shami."

Shami will be seen next in the Delhi Test against Australia beginning February 17.
