The much-loved cricketer in the last phase of his career, Chennai Super Kings' (CSK) skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni has stolen the limelight in this edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) with fans following him everywhere across the country. The legendary former Indian captain hasn't spoken anything openly about his retirement but it has been widely presumed that he may play another season.

Now, former Indian cricketer Mohammed Kaif has given his views on what could be Dhoni's future in the league. Trusting his intuition, Kaif mentioned that this could be the final season where 'Thala' is representing the Super Kings in the IPL as according to him, the 41-year-old has given enough hints that he won't be there for too long.

“I think MSD has given enough hints that this is his last IPL. He’s keeping the world guessing and that’s been his nature. But I have this intuition that Dhoni will not be playing the IPL next year.”

Previously, Dhoni did a 'lap of honour' after CSK's final home game against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at Chepauk where he alongside other teammates distributed franchise merchandise to the fans sitting in the stands.

Also, the thing that went unnoticed was MS wearing a kneecap on the troublesome knee which has affected his running between the wickets.

CSK lost the match by six wickets and now, their only hope to play Qualifier 1 is if they beat Delhi Capitals on 20th May in their last group stage game and some other results go their way too.
