Indian batting sensation Virat Kohli has continued his tradition of sharing insightful quotes on his Instagram story, even after India's loss to Australia in the World Test Championship (WTC) Final at the Oval.

After losing the WTC Final, Kohli posted a quote by Chinese philosopher Lao Tzu, stating, "Silence is a source of great strength."

On June 15, Kohli shared an impactful quote on his Instagram story by English writer Alan Watts, stating,"To make sense of change, one must embrace it fully, move with it, and join the dance."

Kohli's Instagram story revolved around the theme of "change" and emphasized the significance of accepting it and embracing it with grace, like a dance.

On the final day of the WTC final, Kohli carried the hopes of India's victory as they aimed for an almost insurmountable target of 444 runs against Australia. However, India's dreams were shattered early on Day 5 when Kohli (49) played a loose drive, away from his body, off Scott Boland's delivery, resulting in a catch by Steve Smith at second slip.

Kohli's dismissal marked the beginning of India's batting collapse, as they crumbled and were bundled out for 234 runs in the first session of play. As the 34-year-old collected his runners-up medal and walked past the WTC mace, his despondent expression depicted another tale of heartbreak.

Despite the disappointment, Kohli has found solace in sharing philosophical quotes, using his social media platform to reflect on the significance of silence, acceptance of change, and the art of dancing with life's transformations.
