England Test captain Ben Stokes drew parallels between the rising star Harry Brook and India's batting maverick Virat Kohli. The star all-rounder reckoned that Brook has got got the ability to become successful all format player, just like Kohli.

Yorkshire batter Brook has been sensational ever since he made a debut for England. After clinching the Man of the Series award against Pakistan in the seven-match T20I series, he has now cemented his place in England's Test team.

Brook struck a flamboyant century in the Rawalpindi Test before scoring a match-defining ton against Pakistan in Multan Test to help England register a 26-run victory, which saw the visitors securing their first Test series victory in Pakistan in 22 years.

During an interaction with Sky Sports, Stokes lavished praise on Brook for his water-tight technique.

He also shed light on Brook's consistent performances in the County Championship that helped him perform at the biggest level.

Here's what Stokes said

"He's a player whose technique is suited to all three formats, he wants to always look to be putting pressure back onto the opposition, and he's won another game for England. After the summer he had last year, getting all the big-ups before he made his debut at the back end of the summer, to come here and put in that kind of performance again was just phenomenal,

"He's one of those rare players that you look across all formats and you can just see him being successful everywhere. It's a massive shout, but Virat Kohli is one of those guys where technique is just so simple and works everywhere. The pressure that he puts back onto opposition is exactly what we're about."
