Alzarri Joseph Joseph has been a revelation for Gujarat Titans in IPL 2023. In the opening game against CSK, he picked up 2 for 33, and was one of the better bowlers for his side.

In the second game for GT against a struggling Delhi Capitals, Joseph's twin strike in the 9th over turned the tides in Titans' favour.

The Delhi Capitals were hit with rock-bottom when Mohammad Shami got rid off Prithvi Shaw and Mitch Marsh in quick successions. The ball was moving a bit in the initial few overs and the GT pacers utilised it to perfection.

Skipper David Warner was the lone warrior for his side (37) as he battled hard, but just when normality resumed for the Capitals, Joseph changed the game on its head once again.

A good length delivery outside the off from Joseph and Warner inside-edged it on the stumps. His feet went nowhere and the captain of DC paid the price for it. In the same over, Joseph showed his class with the wicket of struggling Rilee Rossouw.

He bowled a perfect bouncer that surprised Rossouw who failed to keep it down. The ball lobbed up and Tewatia at backward point took a brilliant diving catch.

Joseph could have got a third wicket in the form of debutant Abhishek Porel, but the ball flew just wide of the man at short mid wicket.

At the time of publishing, Delhi Capitals are 79 for 4.
