India and Australia are playing against each other in the second Test of the Border Gavaskar Trophy 2023. This Test marks the 100th Test match for Indian batter Cheteshwar Pujara. Playing 100 Tests is a pretty rare achievement and the Delhi crowd acknowledged it when the batter walked out in the middle.

There was a wave of excitement about how 'Wall 2.0' does in his landmark match. But the excitement and the hype around the man was short lived. Pujara's stays was cut short to just seven deliveries as Nathan Lyon trapped him in front of the stumps.

It was good length delivery on the middle stump that turned in a bit. Pujara stepped down a bit and was looking to push at the ball. But as the ball made contact, the Aussies went up in an appeal. There was a big appeal and the umpire felt that it was bat first, but Lyon was not convinced and pushed Pat Cummins to take the review. As the review was taken, the replays showed that it was pad first and the batter was right in front of the stumps.

With that Pujara achieved a rare and unwanted feat. He became the eighth batter in the history of Test cricket to score a duck in his 100th match.

There are some big names other than Pujara in the list. Let us take a look at the players who have bagged a duck in their 100th Test match.
