Cricket South Africa have announced the Division Two squads for the CSA T20 Knockout 2022 Competition.

The tournament will be played from September 30 to October 9 and witness the participation of seven Division Two teams, along with the South Africa U19 Men’s team. There will be two pools, comprising four teams each. Two teams from each pool would secure a place in the semi-finals.

All matches of Pool A will be played at Pietermaritzburg Oval, while Buffalo Park Cricket Stadium will host all Pool B fixtures.

This time around, CSA is leading a fight against Gender-based Violence (GBV), which has affected a large chunk of the South African population.

The domestic men's and women's teams will don a tag of #ENDGBV on the back of their jerseys in the 2022/23 season. The Women's Provincial One Day tournament has already been started, while Division Two teams will carry the campaign in the T20 Knockouts.

The tournament serves as an important platform for the Division Two teams for their promotion to Division One.

Meanwhile, Division One CSA T20 Challenge 2022/23 will kickstart from October 17.
