Former Australian wicket-keeper batter Adam Gilchrist commends young Aussie all-rounder Cameron Green for his breathtaking 61-run knock off just 30 deliveries against India in a chase of 209.

Gilchrist mentioned that the development and growth in Green's career has been at a phenomenal rate, and especially his confidence which has got a massive boost in recent times.

He said,

"Look out this summer,"

The development and maturing of Cam Green before our eyes is just so exciting."

Gilchrist sees Green as a great future prospect

After being promoted to the opener's slot in T20I cricket for the first time in his career, Green displayed intent to take his side home in a high-voltage chase.

Gilchrist also added that he could become a significant figure for Australia in Test cricket if he's given a proper platform to succeed.

"The run scoring and the achievements that he's ticking off in the white ball format is only going to help his confidence and his flow of runs in test cricket,

"In one slight hand break in what's been a fantastic launch into test cricket has been Cam's fluency of run scoring. He can be held up occasionally, but I think this is just going to start to teach him about the tempo of an innings."

Australia will next face India on 23rd September in Nagpur, where the latter would want to level the series after going down by 1-0 in the 1st T20I.
