AUS-W Vs SL-W: Captain's Quote
Chamari Athapaththu (Sri Lanka Women Captain): "We are going to bat first. I'm confident of my batting line-up and there is also some heat today. So, hopefully, we will put up a good total. We have to execute our plans. The conditions are good for the batters. But we can't complain at the end of the day. You have to play positive cricket. I have told everyone to play fearless cricket."
Alyssa Healy (Australia Women Captain): "Does not really matter, we lost the toss and I am not unhappy about bowling. First match of the tournament and we go out as a group. We are prepared, seems like there is a real calmness around, first world cup for a lot of us. We will have to adapt really quickly to get up to the pace. Highly overrated, I think the girls are in real good touch, it is hot but not too bad here and there is a breeze around so we will adjust well. Phoebe is fit and ready to go, Darcy Brown is fit as well. We have ample of pace and spin options."
