After securing two consecutive clinical victories, Pakistan are gearing up to take on South Africa in the final One-Day International of the ongoing three-match series. The first two matches witnessed Pakistan's complete dominance over the Proteas, as Mohammad Rizwan and co took an unassailable two-nil lead with successive emphatic wins. However, as Pakistan brace themselves for a potential clean-sweep, it seems the rain will play spoilsport at the iconic Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg.

Wanderers Stadium Johannesburg Weather Update

The weather forecast for the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg doesn't look promising for today. According to AccuWeather, there is a 51 per cent chance of precipitation at the venue. So, expect inclement weather conditions, including thunderstorms, to interrupt the proceedings at the Bull Ring this evening.

As per the latest report, the toss has been delayed due to a slight drizzle at the venue. The pitch is under the covers; however, the rain isn't heavy, and we can expect the game to begin once it stops. It's worth mentioning that the probability of precipitation reads 20-25 per cent this evening in Johannesburg. So, even if the match gets a delayed start, it won't be surprising if rain intervenes in the game later in the evening.

SA vs PAK ODI Series: As It Has Happened So Far

The first ODI witnessed a close contest between the two sides at Boland Park, with the visitors securing a narrow three-wicket victory. Although Heinrich Klaasen unleashed his beast mode in Cape Town, his outrageous knock couldn't help South Africa escape a series defeat, as Pakistan once again emerged victorious on the tour

So, moving on to this game, the hosts would be desperate to break their losing streak, while Rizwan's troops would be keen to register a whitewash. But, at the moment, all eyes are on Johannesburg's weather, which doesn't seem ideal for a cricket match.
