Kensington Oval, Bridgetown, Barbados, will host the second ODI of the ongoing series between West Indies and India on July 29. It is a must-win clash for the Windies, as a loss will lead to their series defeat, with a match remaining at Trinidad.

After a 1-0 Test series loss, the Men in Maroon's fortunes did not change. Although Shai Hope and Co. fought well in the second half of the fixture, it was their 114-run total that had almost decided the game in the first innings only.

For India, their experimentation in terms of randomness in their batting order could have proved very costly. While the Indian bowlers did well to restrict the hosts to 114, they lost as many as five wickets while achieving the paltry target.

Before the second ODI beckons, let us look at the key stats of the Kensington Oval.

Twenty-five matches have been won by the toss-winning teams, accounting for over 54% of the total games.

Although England scored the highest total of 364 runs here, it is not a batting-friendly venue as such. Ireland holds the record of scoring the least runs in an ODI innings of 91 during the 2007 World Cup fixture against Australia.
