The stage is now set for the sixth match of IPL 2025 and it is RR up against KKR in a crucial encounter. The IPL 2024 champions, KKR have won the toss and have decided to bowl first. Both the teams have lost their first match, and would be looking to get off the mark in this game.

They will be without Sunil Narine though and Moeen Ali has been brought in the side in place of him. Rajasthan Royals, on the other hand, have brought in Wanindu Hasaranga in their team in place of Fazalhaq Farooqi. Another player who continues to stay out is the 13-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi's Lack Of Experience Keeping Him Out Of RR Unit

The kid from Bihar is known for his power-hitting and was bought for 1.1 Crore and can be destrtuctive if he gets going. He is naturally an opener, and as RR already have Sanju Samson and Yashasvi Jaiswal in their ranks, there is little room for Vaibhav to get a chance so early.

In future, he can be slotted in at number 3 as an Impact Player if Sanju Samson gets fit to play the whole game. However, he lacks experience currently and despite his talent, he is pretty raw which goes against him. RR's focus this year seems to be in grooming him for future, and it would be hard for him to replace any senior player unless they get into a very poor form.

Thus, Vaibhav Suryavanshi would have to keep waiting for his chances, and may only get his opportunity if someone gets injured.
