On Friday, Pakistan will lock horns with New Zealand in the third T20 International of the ongoing five-match series. The high-octane face-off will be played at Eden Park in Auckland.

Pakistan made significant changes to their squad ahead of the T20I series. However, the young players haven't been able to make a mark in the series so far. Led by Agha Salman, the Men in Green have lost both T20Is and are gearing up to take on the in-form BlackCaps in a must-win affair in Auckland.

Meanwhile, despite missing several IPL-bound players, New Zealand have been absolutely superb across departments. The hosts have showcased remarkable resilience, securing a crucial lead of two-nil in the series.

When will the Pakistan Vs New Zealand 1st T20I match start?

The first two T20Is of the series were day games and started at 6.45 AM IST. However, the third T20I in Auckland is a day-night affair. So, unlike the first couple of encounters, the third T20I will kickstart at 11.45 AM IST and 7.15 PM local time.

What happened the last time these two teams met in a T20I match?

The previous T20I face-off between Pakistan and New Zealand took place at University Oval in Dunedin. It was reduced to a 15-over per side game due to inclement weather conditions.

Batting first, Pakistan posted a competitive total of 135 runs, losing nine wickets in 15 overs. However, New Zealand made a mockery of the score, chasing the target successfully in 13.1 overs.

Tim Seifert hammered 45 runs off just 22 deliveries, while Finn Allen and Mitchell Hay contributed 38 ans 21 runs, respectively.
