Match 37 of the Women's Big Bash League (WBBL) 2022 between the Sydney Sixers and Melbourne Renegades ended in a no-result after rain abandoned play. With this, both teams shared one point each, which places the Sixers one point shy of table-toppers Brisbane Heat, while the Renegades still occupy the seventh spot with 5 points.

However, the Sydney-based club has played one match less than Brisbane.

Put into batting, the Renegades got off to a solid start with openers Hayley Matthews and Chamari Athapaththu in the middle.

Matthews, in particular, took on the charge, adding 40 runs off 41 balls. Australia's Ashleigh Gardner got the better of Matthew, having her caught by Suzie Bates for a well-made 40.

Erica Kershaw joined Athapaththu, but rains soon interrupted play.

Both batters remained unbeaten on 16* and 4*, respectively, with umpires deciding to call players off the field and soon abandoning the match with Renegades on 64 for 1.
