As expected, India are all over the Bangladesh team in the early going as the Tigers have lost 2 early wickets and are in dire need of a partnership as Indian new ball bowlers are running riot. First it was Mohammed Shami, who setup Soumya Sarkar to dismiss him for a duck, and Harshit Rana, followed his seniors' footsteps.
The Indian pacer who was trusted over Arshdeep Singh delivered the goods in the first over as Najmul Hossain Shanto, the Bangladesh skipper played a needless shot and threw his wicket away for a 2-ball duck.
The ball was doing enough in the initial few overs as Harshit swung it away from the left and Najmul flashed away from the body and got it from the toe-end of the bat. The ball flew towards Virat Kohli at covers who took a sharp catch to give India the second breakthrough. Harshit, couldn't contain his excitement as he gave a flying kiss send-off to the batter, a celebration he made famous during the IPL.
Kohli, too, gave a fiery send-off as the Indian team was pumped up after the crucial wicket of the skipper.
India made interesting changes in the side
The Indian side made quite a few changes in their playing XI, with skipper Rohit Sharma picking Harshit over Arshdeep, a move which baffled the fans.
Also, there was no Varun Chakravarthy in the team as India preferred Kuldeep Yadav over the KKR mystery spinner. The rest of the team remained the same with Mohammed Shami leading the Indian bowling lineup and Ravindra Jadeja, Kuldeep Yadav being the two spinners.
