Vaibhav Suryavanshi, after a long wait has finally made his debut in IPL. He is just 14-year-old and is the youngest to play in the league. He came in as an Impact Player for Sandeep Sharma and turned on the heat straightaway, hitting six on the very first ball of his career.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi Takes Apart LSG Bowlers

Shardul Thakur was the bowler and he bowled it full, around off. Vaibhav Suryavanshi made room straightaway and slammed it over deep extra cover for a six. It was quite a shot, and a statement from the 14-year-old that he is not going to back down even against a quality international bowler.

The shot pleasantly surprised everyone on the field, including Yashasvi Jaiswal and Sanju Samson. RR fans would be hoping that he carries on that good start in the rest of the game, as he is known for his power-hitting after Shardul, also smashed other bowlers all over the park. RR are chasing 181, and are in desperate need of two points, thus, they need Vaibhav and all other batters to step up against LSG.

In the first half, LSG struggled at the start, but Aiden Markram and Ayush Badoni hit fifties while Abdul Samad played a superb cameo to take his team to a formidable total. The match is being played at the home ground of RR, and it would be interesting to see how they go about their business in the run-chase.
