After taking Lucknow Super Giants to a match-winning position, Quinton de Kock departed for a 43-ball 54 on Friday (April 19) during their IPL 2024 match against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at Ekana Cricket Stadium. 

And MS Dhoni, who made headlines yet again with blistering strikes earlier in the evening, had a sheepish smile on his face after completing the catch off Mustafizur Rahman.

It was a short delivery by Mustafizur, who came to bowl the 15th over of the innings. The ball angled in sharply, and de Kock got a faint edge while going back to play a ramp shot. The ball went straight into the hands of Dhoni, who made no mistake while completing a catch.

Meanwhile, at the time of writing this, there is no chance of CSK winning the match against LSG. The KL Rahul-led side only need one run off seven balls, with Nicholas Pooran on strike against Tushar Deshpande.

Earlier, CSK closed on 176/6, with Dhoni giving the finishing touches with a crafty nine-ball 28 not out.
