Rashid Khan is turning the heat on in the second ODI between Afghanistan and Bangladesh. He first got the wicket of well-set Soumya Sarkar and now when an important stand between Najmul Hossain Shanto and Mehidy Hasan Miraz was brewing up, he bowled a beautiful googly to get another crucial breakthrough for his side.

He got the wicket of Mehidy Hasan Miraz who was batting on 22 and it came on the fourth delivery of the 33rd over. The ball pitched outside off and was touch short as well. Mehidy Hasan Miraz went back to cut it but the ball turned in sharply and quickly and the batter was left clueless as the ball knocked over the middle stump in flash.

Rashid Khan too enjoyed that wicket as he gave a savage send off to the batter with Mehidy looking at his stumps and partner in disbelief. It was a big wicket for Afghanistan and Rashid Khan is once again showing why he is one of the best in the world.

Earlier, Bangladesh lost Tanzid Hasan in the fourth over after a brisk start. The pitch is not easy to bat and stroke-making is especially difficult, because of the slow nature of the turf. Shanto is batting well though and Bangladesh would be hoping to get a target of close to 260 which could prove pretty difficult for Afghanistan in the second half with quality spinners in Bangladesh's ranks. The Afghans are already leading the series after a win in the first game and Bangla Tigers need to win this game to keep the series alive.
