Ramandeep Singh was the silent warrior for the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in their ongoing clash against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB).

KKR innings can be summed up in three halves. They started off with a carange, as the tone was set by Phil Salt, who hammered a 14-ball 48. Then they lost the plot in the middle-overs as Shreyas Iyer got slow, and RCB threatened to pull the game away from KKR camp.

However, the game was once again pulled in the KKR camp by none other than Ramandeep Singh, who played a blinder to propel his side to 226.

When Ramandeep came in, the KKR score read 179-6 inside 18 overs. However, he took on the attack to the opposition and took the burden of Andre Russell, who was struggling at the other end. 

He hammered Mohammed Siraj in the 19th over as the momentum shifted and it put RCB on the back-foot. Eventually, Ramandeep remained unbeaten on 24 off 9 balls, and struck at 266.67.

Talking about the KKR innings, after the Salt assault, every batter contributed with runs, and the innings also gave confidence to Iyer, who scored his second fifty of the season.
