Quinton de Kock's wicket in SA20 (Source:@SA20_League/X.com)
Quinton de Kock is one of the finest South African batters in white-ball cricket. The superstar has retired from ODIs and Tests, but is still playing T20Is and franchise leagues and is expected to make an impact for whichever team he plays for. However, his form has not been great in SA20 2025, and it continued that way in the game against Sunrisers Eastern Cape.
There has been constant chopping and changing of his position and the star who has scored most of his runs as an opener is being forced to bat in the middle over. In the game against Sunrisers, he batted at number 4, and never got going. He scored 21 off 19 balls which included one four and a six and on the final delivery of the 15th over, Ottneil Baartman delivered a killer blow.

He bowled a length delivery from 'round the wicket, angling into middle and leg. Quinton de Kock was cramped for room and went for a wild slog across the line. However, he missed the ball completely and the leg stump was sent for a ride while the middle stump also got disturbed.
It was a mighty blow to Durban Super Giants and from 94-4, they were bowled out for just 107 as Sunrisers Eastern Cape grabbed their first win of the season by 58 runs.
