Dewald Brevis, the South African superstar is known for his exceptional fielding, be it inside the 30-yard circle or the boundary ropes, and against Sunrisers Eastern Cape, he plucked perhaps the greatest catch of all time in the SA20 clash between Sunrisers and MI Cape Town at the Newlands, Cape Town.

It was an unreal, gravity-defying catch which stunned the fans and the Sunrisers side as the Proteas fielder pulled off a never seen before take at the edge of the boundary ropes. The SA 20 2025 has already witnessed some classic catches, but this was a spectacular catch which topped the previous ones.

Corbin Bosch delivered a slightly shorter length ball as Tom Abell, the Sunrisers batter swatted it towards the deep square leg region. Brevis, initially misjudged the catch as he was well inside the boundary ropes and the ball was travveling quickly. However, he leaped in the air, turned his body back and pulled off a nearly impossible take to stun Abell and the entire crowd.

Sunrisers in deep trouble!

The 2025 season has certainly not been the best for the Sunrisers Eastern Cape. The two-time defending champions have been below par and the trend continued in the ongoing clash, where half of their side is back in the hut and the team struggling to post a decent total.

None of their batters provided any sort of resistance as MI Cape Town ran riot and have put the break on the scoring rate. The Sunrisers are in the 3rd place in the table, but have not been at their best. On the other hand, MICT are at the second position, and a win tonight will further strengthen their position.
