It was the third delivery of the sixth over and Sam Curran bowled it short and outside off Steven Taylor who was batting well, played a fierce cut shot, but played it aerially to the left of the point fielder. Moeen Ali though was in no mood to let it go and dived full-length and grabbed a stunning catch to hand England their second wicket of the match.

Earlier, Jos Buttler won the toss and decided to bowl first and it was Reece Topley who drew first blood with a wicket of in-form Andries Gous on the final delivery of the opening over.
