Virat Kohli is a master of run-chases and in a high-pressure game against Australia in the Champions Trophy semifinal, the man is taking India to the safer shores again. India are chasing the target of 265, and after two early wickets, India found comfort in Kohli's presence.

However, there were some tough chances that he gave away to Australia that they could not capitalise on, and one of them was on the final delivery of the 26th over. The man who dropped the catch was Virat Kohli's former RCB teammate Glenn Maxwell. It was a fuller delivery on off by Connolly and Kohli tried to work it towards the leg side.

The batter though managed to get a leading edge and the ball went right of Glenn Maxwell at short extra cover. He dived full-length to his right and got a hand on it, but the ball did not stick, and Maxwell was left devastated and stood on the ground wondering what he has done.

Adam Zampa though got the big wicket of Shreyas Iyer in the 27th over, breaking a crucial stand of 91 runs and bringing Australia an opening they desperately needed. In the first half, Steve Smith and Alex Carey scored fifties, and for India, Shami grabbed three wickets to keep Australia in check.

Varun Chakaravarthy and Ravindra Jadeja bagged two wickets each, and Indian spinners once again did the job what was expected from them.
