Riding on valuable contributions from the openers, Bangladesh had a dream start to the ongoing World Cup match against Australia in Pune. However, the Aussies eventually bounced back in style, dismissing Tanzid Hasan Tamim and Litton Das in quick succession. While Sean Abbott got rid of Tanzid, ace spinner Adam Zampa removed Litton to bring smiles back to the Australian dugout.

The incident occurred in the 17th over of the game when Litton and stand-in skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto had already formed a brisk 30-run stand for the second wicket.

Pat Cummins' decision to continue with Zampa at one end proved to be a masterstroke, as the leggie got the big fish in the fourth ball.

After keeping it tight in the first three deliveries, Zampa tossed it up, inviting Litton to go for a big shot. The aggressive ploy paid rich dividends, with Litton hitting the ball straight to Marnus Labuschagne, who took a simple catch at long on.

Following the dismissal, Litton slowly made his way back to the dugout, as he failed to capitalise on the start.

As of writing, Bangladesh are 121 for two in 20.2 overs, with Shanto and Towhid Hridoy batting on 24* and 12*, respectively.
