KL Rahul is generally known for his technique and composure while batting. But in the ongoing game against the Sunrisers Hyderabad, Rahul has showed that he can bat in the fifth gear too.
Notably, the Delhi Capitals are currently facing the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 10th match of the IPL 2025. Hyderabad were put to bat in the game after Axar Patel won the toss. The Sunrisers boast of a powerful batting line-up which most of the bowling attacks fear. However, the Capitals did a great job with the ball and restricted the Sunrisers to 163 as they bundled them out in the 19th over.
In the chase, the Capitals needed a good start from their openers to chase down the target. Jake Frasrer-McGurk and Faf du Plessis provided them with a brilliant start. But soon a couple of wickets fell and the match stuck for the home team.

However, KL Rahul walked and showed brilliant confidence from ball one. He showed the intent to take the game away from the Sunrisers as quickly as possible.
In the 11th over, Rahul slammed Mohammed Shami for a couple of boundaries and a huge six. The six came of the third delivery. It was full pitched ball at the middle and leg stump line. Rahul went down on one knee and slammed the ball out of the park into the second tier with disdain.
Even though he was dismissed after scoreing 15 runs off 5 deliveries, the fact that he had a strike rate of over 300 is an example of what we can expect from the players in this edition of the tournament.
