India's ace speedster Jasprit Bumrah enjoyed stellar success with the ball in the fourth Test against Australia, recording a magnificent five-wicket haul in the second innings. Bumrah, who scalped four crucial wickets on day four, cleaned up Nathan Lyon with a ripper to bring up his fifer at the iconic venue.

The incident occurred during the 84th over of Australia's second innings when India desperately needed someone to break the tenth wicket stand. Bumrah yet again stood up for the visitors, castling the well-set Nathan Lyon with a beauty.

From over the wicket, Jasprit Bumrah bowled a full-length delivery that came back sharply into Lyon after pitching around the off stump. As the legendary spinner went for an expansive drive, the ball sneaked through the gap between his bat and pad, uprooting his middle stump.

Lyon's dismissal earned Bumrah his fifth wicket, as the fast bowler gave a death stare to the batter after achieving the milestone. The experienced pacer equalled Anil Kumble and Kapil Dev's record for the most Test fifers by an Indian at Melbourne Cricket Ground.

India Off To A Cautious Start In 2nd Innings

Chasing a mammoth 340-run target, India started their second innings cautiously, with Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal neutralising the Australian new ball attack with sheer determination. As of writing, the visitors were six for no loss in five overs, with Rohit and Jaiswal batting on 0* and 6*, respectively.
