The Women's Asia Cup final between India and Sri Lanka is turning out to be quite an interesting game with Sri Lanka fighting out in the chase. India scored 165 after electing to bat first and in reply, Chamari Athapththu, the Sri Lankan skipper smashed a brilliant 61 off 43 balls before Deepti Sharma cleaned her up around the legs to bring India back in the game.

The wicket was a huge one for India and it showed in the celebration of Indian skipper who was pumped up and showed all her emotions while hugging her teammates.

 It was a big, big wicket for India as the Sri Lankan captain was threatening to take the game away from the defending champions, and Deepti Sharma once again showed why she is one of India's biggest assets. It was a full delivery, around leg, Athapaththu tried to sweep it, but missed it, and the ball knocked over the leg pole.

Smriti Mandhana Guiding India's Ship

With the bat it was Smriti Mandhana who took India to a compeitive total of 165, with her 60 off 47 balls. Richa Ghosh and Jemimah Rodrigues played important cameos of 30 and 29 respectively, and with both teams coming unbeaten into the final, this game was expected to be a high-intensity affair, which is what it has been so far.
