Warner's angry roar [Source: @BBL/X.COM]
David Warner is an animated character and never shies away from expressing his emotions. Whether he is angry or in a cheerful mode, Warner is someone who loves to show what's going inside his heart and it was once again evident in the ongoing Big Bash League (BBL) Challenger Vs Sydney Sixers.
In the virtual knockout clash, Sixers batted first and immediately wickets started to tumble as Sydney Thunder captain, Warner got into the game and rallied his troops to get further inroads in the match. He was at his animated best as the Sixers felt the heat. Skipper Warner was all pumped up and while many memorable moments occurred in the Sixers' innings, the fall of Jack Edwards was the highlight.
Edwards slammed a length ball towards the mid-of region where David Warner was waiting for the catch. The ball travelled quickly and the Thunder skipper timed his jump to perfection and leaped in the air to take a stunner. Just after plucking the catch, Warner gave an angry roar as he celebrated the fall of the wicket.
Sixers in trouble in knockout game
Sixers are all over the place as their rivals, Sydney Thunder have got hold off the match with their stellar bowling performance. The team lost 3 quick wickets and were o n the verge of getting all-out for a low score.
However, Moises Henriques, and Jordan Silk somewhat resurrected the innings. Just when a partnership was brewing up, Thunder came back strongly to dismiss Henriques, the Sixers' captain for 29.
At the moment, the batting team has lost 5 wickets and will need to post a decent total to pose a challenge for the Thunder.
