A bizarre dismissal off an eye-catching delivery in the KCC T20 Challengers Cup 2024 has gone viral over the past two days on the internet as fans were left shocked by the amount of turn the spinner with the unorthodox action generated to dismiss the opposing right-hander. 

Playing for Kuwait Nationals against the SBS CC, this spinner, who seemed to have adopted a mix of legends Muttiah Muralitharan and Harbhajan Singh in his bowling action, had the batter completely outfoxed by a ball which turned sharply to crash into the leg-stump. 

Flighting the ball up, the spinner had the opposition right-hander going way outside the off-stump and shaping up to pull it towards the mid-wicket region. However, the delivery instead dipped on him and turned so sharply that it hit the middle and leg stump. 


New 'Ball Of The Century' Go Viral On Twitter 

The batter couldn't believe what had just transpired and helplessly walked off the turf while the Kuwait bowler celebrated the dismissal. 

The clip of the delivery was shared by Kuwait Cricket was unveiled amongst the fans by a X handle and has since inspired interesting and amusing remarks from cricket lovers. 

Some hailed it as the new 'ball of the century' in reference to legendary Shane Warne's epic delivery to dismiss Mike Gatting in the 1993 Ashes tour. 


As always, the club cricket around the globe throws up such hilarious cricketing moments and leaves social media buzzing with even South African left-arm wristspinner Tabraiz Shamsi joining in the fun. 

Shamsi told his spin partner and left-arm tweaker Keshav Maharaj,"we've gotta work on this ball next" as the international player further spread the magic of the delivery produced by the Kuwait bowler against his Indian-origin opponent batter.
