Axar Patel took an excellent catch to end the SRH massacre, led by Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head, on Saturday during Delhi Capitals' IPL 2024 clash at their home, Arun Jaitley Stadium. In the process, Kuldeep gave the Rishabh Pant-led side a much-required breakthrough, giving home fans something to cheer about on their first visit to the stadium.

After SRH openers punished DC bowlers by posting 125/0 in six overs, Pant introduced Kuldeep into the attack for the second time on the day. Batting on 40* off 10 balls, Abhishek began the over with a magnificent six over the bowler’s head after coming down the track.

However, Kuldeep was sharp, getting revenge on the next delivery. Abhishek was on a mission to complete the quickest fifty in IPL 2024, and hence, he holed out to extra cover after Kuldeep bowled a tossed-up delivery outside the off stump.

Axar took an excellent low catch, throwing himself for the catch before eventually getting the success.

At the time of writing, SRH are 174/4 after 11.5 overs, with Nitish Reddy and Shahbaz Ahmed in the middle, on 8* and 11* respectively.
