Varun Chakaravarthy made comeback into the Indian team in Bangladesh T20I series and since then has been unstoppable. He did brilliantly in South Africa and now has become the first Indian player to bag 10 wickets in a T20I bilateral series against England. He picked three wickets in the first match and then two in the second, but has now delivered big in the third game with a stunning five-wicket haul.

He bagged wickets of Jos Buttler, Jamie Smith, Jamie Overton, Brydon Carse and Jofr Archer to finish with five wickets for just 24 runs in his four overs. Jofra Archer was the last one to go as he had not idea to the the ball that came sharply into him. It was a full delivery, around off and Jofra Archer lunged forward to defend, however, the ball turn back in and knocked over the stumps.

India Restrict England to 171

The English star was completely surprised after his dismissal and looked quite disturbed and spoke something to his partner in great frustration.

England eventually ended with 167 on the board, but it is a wicket where they would have hoped for a score of above 200, especially after the start given by Ben Duckett. He scored 51 off 28 balls, but rest of the batters expected Liam Livingstone faltered. Livingstone scored 43 off just 24 balls with one four and five sixes while for India, Hardik Pandya picked two alongside Varun's fifer.
