In a clash between the Mumbai Indians (MI) and the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), the ongoing match at Wankhede Stadium saw a significant moment as Ishan Kishan's fiery innings came to an end. Kishan, who was batting aggressively, managed to score an impressive 69 runs off just 34 deliveries before departing.

The wicket came as a relief for the RCB camp, breaking the formidable opening partnership that MI had established. Akash Deep, bowling for RCB, utilized a change of pace to outfox Kishan. 

Delivering a short-of-a-length ball outside the off-stump, Ishan Kishan, in his attempt to go for a flat-batted shot, mistimed the stroke. The ball skied off the bottom of his bat, heading towards long-on where Virat Kohli,  completed a straightforward catch.

This breakthrough provided some respite for RCB, as MI boasts a deep batting lineup. Kishan's departure, however, underscored the dominance MI has displayed in this encounter. With Kishan's aggressive style, including seven fours and five sixes, he had propelled MI to a commanding position before his dismissal.

The match, characterized by MI's overwhelming performance, has seen them dictate terms against RCB at Wankhede Stadium. At the time of writing, MI is at 135/1 after 11 overs.
