Ugly Image Surfaces as No-Ball Controversy Erupts in SRH-LSG Clash

As a no-ball call by the third umpire stirred up a dissension in the fixture between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), the crowd added fuel to the fire, taking the controversy to a whole new level.

After the third umpire reversed an otherwise straightforward no-ball call after LSG challenged the decision, the two SRH batters Heinrich Klaasen and Abdul Samad did not seem too pleased with it.

The incident happened in the third ball of the 19th over. Moments later the play was interrupted, although the reason for the delay was not known.

As the picture became clear, it came to light that the fans sitting behind the LSG dugout, threw certain objects, which came in as a reaction to the no-ball drama.

Now, an image has caught the attention of everyone on social media in which the LSG head coach is seen signalling an obscene gesture.

While it is being viewed as something directed at the umpire standing in front of Flower, there is a chance that LSG's head honcho might be doing this to iterate the crowd's action to explain their poor behaviour to the umpire.

Talking about the match, the Sunrisers suffered a seven-wicket defeat as the Super Giants chased 183 runs in 19.2 overs.
