The 22nd match of the Women’s Hundred 2023 will be played between Trent Rockets Women (TRT-W) and Manchester Originals Women (MNR-W) on Thursday, August 17, at Trent Bridge in Nottingham.

Trent Rockets Women

It has been a bit of a rough ride for the Trent Rockets Women in the tournament so far. They managed just one win out of five matches and ended up with four losses. Their match against Birmingham Phoenix Women got rained off without a single ball being bowled.

The likes of Nat Sciver-Brunt and Bryony Smith have been knocking it out of the park for Trent Rockets, but they have also had their fair share of players who couldn't quite find their groove. 

Harmanpreet Kaur stands as the prime example, struggling to find her rhythm in the tournament. On top of that, their bowling squad seems to be missing that spark. 

Moving forward, they better pull themselves together and sync up as a solid team, as there is no more room for slip-ups. The race for the playoffs is heating up every day, and they can't afford to miss a beat.  

Manchester Originals Women 

On the other hand, the Manchester Originals Women are not doing much better than the Trent Rockets Women. They pulled off just one win out of five matches, faced two losses and had to deal with two rainouts. They are currently placed fifth on the points table with four points in their kitty.

Apart from Deandra Dottin, their batters have not shown any promise with the bat, and their bowling has been a bit lacklustre. They need their batters and bowlers to take centre stage to turn things around.
