Sunrisers Hyderabad etched their name in the annals of Indian Premier League history on April 15th, outshining their own previous record by notching up a staggering 287 runs against Royal Challengers Bangalore at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

The match witnessed a spectacular display of power-hitting prowess, with the Sunrisers' batsmen sending the ball sailing over the boundary ropes a remarkable 22 times and finding the fence on 19 occasions.

Travis Head led the charge with a blistering 102, ably supported by Abhishek Sharma (34), Heinrich Klaasen (67), Aiden Markram (32), and Abdul Samad (37), as they unleashed a relentless onslaught on the RCB bowlers.

This clash between RCB and SRH wasn't just any ordinary fixture; it was a spectacle that rewrote the record books. Sunrisers Hyderabad eclipsed their own previous record of 277 runs, set against Mumbai Indians earlier in the current IPL season. Notably, their total of 287 not only stands as the highest in this IPL edition but also ranks as the second-highest in the history of T20 cricket.

In a game marked by breathtaking displays of skill and determination, Sunrisers Hyderabad showcased their batting prowess in emphatic fashion, leaving spectators in awe and etching their name in IPL folklore once again.
