Another round of the Syed Mushtaq Ali on November 30 was packed with some quality action on display, right from Ayush Mhatre's second consecutive century in three days, to another failure for Vaibhav Suryavanshi against a quality delivery from Auqib Nabi.

The morning started with a blockbuster Punjab performance, followed by Ishan Kishan's Jharkhand power-packed run chase. Among other key star performances were Sanju Samson and Rajat Patidar getting brisk runs.

Here's a complete breakdown of SMAT round 3.

Abhishek leads Punjab's mayhem vs Bengal

Punjab captain Abhishek Sharma went hammer and tongs against a strong Bengal bowling attack and scored a 32-ball century before going on to score 148(52) with 8 fours and 16 sixes. Prabhsimran Singh got 70(35), followed by Ramandeep Singh's 39(15) and Sanvir Singh's 22(9). They scored 310/5, while Bengal looked clueless.

Abhimanyu Easwaran got 130*(66), but the wickets kept crumbling under the pressure of the mammoth target. Harpreet Brar was the best bowler of the match with 3/23 (4).

Ishan Kishan scores a quick ton to clinch a comfortable chase

The India outcast, Ishan Kishan, with a point to prove, helped Jharkhand chase down 183 runs against Tripura in just 17.3 overs with a 113*(50). He scored 10 fours and 8 sixes during his knock, while Virat Singh got 53*(40). Vijay Shankar also scored 59(41) in the same match, alongside captain Manisankar Murasingh's 42(21) in a lost cause.

Auqib Nabi runs over Vaibhav Suryavanshi's Bihar

After setting up a target of 160 runs at the Eden Gardens, thanks to Qamran Iqbal's 64(40), Auqib Nabi, who is making a name for himself in the last couple of seasons, led the Jammu and Kashmir bowling attack with a match-winning 4/16 (4), dismissing Vaibhav Suryavanshi at just 5(7). Yudhvir Singh also took 2/23 (4) in JKCA's 34-run win.

Mhatre slams back-to-back tons for Mumbai

In another match-winning run-chase for Mumbai, Ayush Mhatre scored 104*(59) to guide his team to a comfortable win by 9 wickets and 4.4 overs left. Days after his duck, Ajinkya Rahane yet again only managed 18(12), while Suryakumar Yadav scored 31*(21). In the bowling department, Tushar Deshpande took 3/25 in Mumbai's consecutive wins.
