The Mysore Warriors are taking on the Hubli Tigers in the 14th match of the Maharaja Trophy 2024 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The toss in this game was won by the Hubli Tigers and they decided to field first.

Karun Nair added one more half-century under his belt

The Warriors did not have a get start to their innings. However, after the fall of the first wicket, Karthik SU and Karun Nair stabilised the innings and stitched a partnership of 60 runs. The skipper of the Warriors, Karun Nair utilised the momentum that he is in and scored another half-century following the wonderful 124* (48) in the last match.

Samit Dravid failed to fire in the game

Even though Nair scored a very important half-century, Samit Dravid failed to impress. Son of the Indian legend, Rahul Dravid, Samit showed a lot of promise in match before the last game where he scored 33 runs off 24 balls. His innings was decorated with four boundaries and a six.

However, in the latest outing, Samit was able to score only 2 runs off 5 deliveries. However, because of Nair's good work and the late cameo of Manoj Bhandage (20 off 17), the Warriors were able to post 165 on the board.

The Hubli Tigers made a great start to their chase. However, the Mysore bowlers came back into the game picking up wickets in bunches. The Tigers lost the plot and got bundled out for 109 in 17 overs losing the game by 56 runs.
