The big-hitting opener for Punjab Kings (PBKS) Prabhsimran Singh who smashed a hard-fought century against Delhi Capitals (DC) has been benched for the rest of the match as pace bowler from Australia Nathan Ellis has been asked to walk in his place. Prabhsimran went berserk against DC's bowling line-up thumping six sixes and ten boundaries in his knock of 103 as faced 65 balls.

His valiant effort helped Punjab post 167 on the board after the culmination of 20 overs where the second-highest scorer for the side was Sam Curran with 20 runs that took 24 balls.

In 12 matches so far, Prabhsimran has struck 334 runs at a strike rate of over 150 which has come in handy for the Mohali-based side as a genuine opening partner for Shikhar Dhawan.

Meanwhile, Nathan Ellis has stepped up with premium pacer Kagiso Rabada in poor form as the former has bagged 10 wickets in seven matches prior to this game giving away runs at an economy just above 9.

Defending a par total, Punjab will huge task ahead as DC were 41 for no loss after the end of four overs.
