With England having won the first two Tests, hosts Pakistan will take the field in the 3rd Test in Karachi in order to avoid a clean sweep at home. 

Pakistan's failure on home soil continued, as England thrashed them in back-to-back matches to register a historic Test series victory. After losing the Rawalpindi Test by 74 runs, Pakistan fell just 26 runs short of the target in the second Test in Multan.  

England, on the other hand, haven't done anything wrong so far in the series. Their strongly hyped 'Bazball' tactic reaped rich rewards for the Three Lions as they never looked out of the frame throughout the series. 

Though Pakistan have already lost the series and are nearly out of the race for World Test Championship 2023 final, they will look to give everything in the third and final Test to end the series on a high note.

Pitch Report: The surface at the National Stadium has always been a balanced one which helps both departments in the game. Batters will look to pile up runs in the initial days while pacers will have to stick to the right line and lengths to scalp wickets here.

England have announced their playing XI, handing young sensation Rehan Ahmed his debut Test cap. In another notable event, Ben Foakes has also marked his return, while ace pacer James Anderson has been rested. 

On the other hand, Pakistan will miss Imam-ul-Haq, who has been ruled out of the match due to a hamstring injury. So, Shan Masood will most likely make his comeback.
