In a remarkable achievement, Australia's legendary speedster Megan Schutt overtook Pakistan's veteran all-rounder Nida Dar to register the most wickets in Women's T20Is. The right-arm pacer attained the significant landmark during her side's ongoing T20 World Cup encounter against Pakistan at Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
Megan Schutt has had a terrific Women's T20 World Cup campaign so far. A wily operator of the white ball, Schutt rattled Sri Lanka and New Zealand Women with clinical three-wicket hauls, becoming the most successful bowler in the tournament's history.
She sustained her dream run in the multi-team event, getting the prized scalp of Sadaf Shamas in the fifth over of Pakistan Women's innings. She bowled a full-length delivery to trap the batter plumb in front of the stumps, with Aussie skipper Alyssa Healy's DRS masterstroke earning her a well-deserved breakthrough.
With Shamas' wicket, Megan Schutt eclipsed Nida Dar's tally of 143 wickets, etching her name in history books as the most successful bowler in Women's T20Is.

Australia Women Dismantle Pakistan's Line-up
After Australia Women's captain Alyssa Healy won the toss and opted to bowl first, Pakistan had the worst possible start, losing their stand-in captain Muneeba Ali cheaply. Sadaf Shamas and Sidra Ameen were dismissed in quick succession before Georgia Wareham pushed the Women in Green down on the mat, scalping crucial wickets of Nida Dar and Omaima Sohail. Riding on an incredible bowling performance, Australia Women have reduced Pakistan to 58 for five in 15.5 overs, with Iram Javed and Aliya Riaz batting on 12* and 9* as of writing.
