On Saturday, India will lock horns with Bangladesh in the final T20I of the ongoing three-match series at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. Having won the first two matches, India have already bagged the series. So, this match gives the hosts a golden opportunity to whitewash the visitors, while Bangladesh must play out of their skins to conclude the tour on a high note.

Led by Najmul Hossain Shanto, Bangladesh have had a miserable India tour so far, losing all matches across formats. After conceding a clean sweep in the Test series, the Tigers incurred two crushing defeats in the T20I leg to endure a four-match winless streak. In the second T20I in Delhi, the visitors reduced their opponents to 41 for three before Nitish Reddy's counterattacking knock scripted the Men in Blue's remarkable comeback.

So, the visitors have plenty of grey areas to work on as they gear up for the final dead-rubber. Before the game begins, let's see how the surface at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad will behave throughout the contest.

Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium Hyderabad Pitch Report

The Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad was one of the high-scoring venues during the IPL this year. Teams breached the 200-run mark seven out of twelve times, speaking volumes for the track's batting-friendly behaviour.

So, expect a pitch with even pace and bounce, where batters will enjoy their time in the middle. The pacers won't get significant seam movement with the new ball. However, if the surface is slightly dry, we might see an oddball holding up a bit after pitching. So, the fast bowlers will be more effective if they cleverly vary their pace and bowl cutters.

The pitch might offer a hint of turn to the spinners, who would like to capitalise on it in the middle overs. Overall, it will be an excellent batting track with something on it for the spin bowlers. The pitch doesn't really change its nature with time, so the toss-winner will likely bowl unless it's an extremely dry deck.
