PAK vs ENG: Mohammad Haris all set to make his T20I debut in the sixth T20I

Wicket-keeper batter Mohammad Haris is set to make his T20I debut for Pakistan in the sixth T20I against England at Gaddafi Stadium on Friday (today).

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed that Haris will be making his debut in the shortest version of the game in the all-important sixth T20I of the ongoing seven-match series between Pakistan and England in Lahore. 

According to the PCB release, Pakistan's incumbent opener and number one ranked T20I batter in the world- Mohammad Rizwan will be rested in today’s match with Haris replacing him in the playing eleven.

Having already made his debut for Pakistan in the one-day format, Haris is all set to receive his T20I cap. He will be the 99th player to represent Pakistan in the 20-over format.


Haris excited for his debut

Speaking about his T20I debut, young Haris said he is excited to make his T20I debut and he will try to perform well and make his team win.

"I am excited to make my T20I debut today. I will try my best to perform good and make my team win. It is a good opportunity for me to Test my skill against one of the best teams in the world (England). I will try and fill the boots of the World's number one T20I batter and play like him. It’s a pressure situation playing against England and making a debut in front of home ground."
