Bangladesh beat England in the second T20I three-match series by four wickets.

After opting to bowl first, Bangladesh bowlers caused wreckage to the mighty England batting as they choked the likes of Dawid Malan, Moeen Ali, Jos Buttler and Sam Curran predominantly.

While Taskin Ahmed and Mustafizur Rahman also made hefty contributions in the form of Dawid Malan and Ben Duckett's wickets respectively, it was Bangladesh's tweakers, mainly Mehidy Hasan Miraz, who with his four-for, held England by their neck.

For the Three Lions, Philip Salt had a comparatively better outing from the top-order as he played well for his 19-ball 25. Ben Duckett's run a ball 28 helped England set a total of 117 runs.

Shanto's 46 scripts history

Although it was a dismal batting half for the Tigers as well, Najmul Hossain Shanto's sedate 46 made them pass through the winning door.

He stitched partnerships with Towhid Hridoy and Miraz to bring Bangladesh out of the hole that had the side tottering at 27/2 in the sixth over.

As Bangladesh sniffed a historic series victory, Jofra Archer and Moeen Ali brought life to the game, while Shanto quietly watched the batters come and go.

To start the 19th over with a boundary, Shanto had almost ended England's hopes. The visitors were further plunged down as Taskin smacked Jordan for two more boundaries in the 19th over to hand Bangladesh an unassailable 2-0 lead.
