Tonight, Lucknow Super Giants will lock horns with Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 43rd group-stage fixture of the ongoing Indian Premier League season. The game is scheduled at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana stadium in Lucknow.

Talking about RCB, the Faf du Plessis-led outfit is placed sixth in the IPL 2023 points table with four wins in eight appearances. Meanwhile, Lucknow Super Giants occupy the second spot with five victories in eight outings.

LSG vs RCB: Head-to-Head record

Overall, both teams have clashed in three matches, with RCB having an upper hand over their counterparts by a narrow 2-1 margin.

The first match between these two teams was played on 19th April last year, which RCB won by 18 runs. They sustained their dominance over the KL Rahul-led side, recording another 14-run victory in their subsequent face-off on 25th May last season.

However, LSG finally opened their account versus RCB this year, registering a one-wicket win in a high-scoring thriller played at the iconic M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

Batting first, RCB posted a massive score of 212, which LSG chased successfully, courtesy of blistering knocks from Nicholas Pooran and Marcus Stoinis.

LSG vs RCB: Who will win?

Both teams have some T20 superstars, which is why we anticipate a nail-biter. However, considering the two-paced nature of the surface, we reckon LSG might outclass RCB and emerge victorious tonight.
