On Thursday, Karachi Kings will take on Islamabad United in the fourth match of the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL). The game is scheduled at the National Bank Cricket Arena, Karachi.

The Kings have decided to field a Babar Azam-less squad for a debacle full of a season last up. After Azam, the reign was shifted back to Imad Wasim; while Shoaib Malik and Haider Ali were transferred into the squad from Peshawar Zalmi.

However, things didn't commence well for the Kings as they lost their curtain-raiser encounter to Peshawar by 2 runs. Captain Wasim and the evergreen Malik tried their heart out in the chase, but the bowlers were off-colour in the last game. 

Islamabad, on the flip side, will play their first fixture of the season against Karachi. Under the astute leadership of Shadab Khan, this team has a great chance in the tournament if they work on minor shortcomings.

The United have an explosive top order and the conditions will favour their bowling; however, their middle order is considered a bit frail.
